Branham Hills Little League 2025 Field Set Up and Tear Down
*** At the Ross Fields, the Visiting Branham Hills team always sets up the field, and the Home Team tears down. If playing interleague at Ross fields, the Branham Hills team covers set up and tear down. Please look at your schedule carefully. 

Majors Field 
Visiting Team is responsible for Field Set-up: 
1. Take the tarps off
2. Water dirt area as needed (infield, pitcher’s mound, batter’s box)
3. Drag the field if necessary 
4. Line the field (Paint will not stick if the dirt is not wet)
5. Put the bases in
6. Hang cushions behind home plate
7. Get a trash can with a bag in it and bring it to the field

Home Team is responsible for Tear-down: 
1. Put the bases away and put base plugs in holes
2. Drag the infield 
3. Rake the base paths, batter’s box, and surrounding areas
4. Tarp the batter’s box and pitching mound
5. Take down cushions and put them in the shed
6. Check and clean the dugouts
7. Take the bag of trash to the bin and return the can to the snack shack area
8. Take the flags down, fold them properly and put them away


Minors Field
Visiting Team is responsible for Field Umpire and Field Set-up: 
1. Take the tarps off
2. Drag the infield if necessary  
3. Water dirt area as needed
4. Line the field  (Paint will not stick if the dirt is not wet)
5. Put the bases in
6. Get a trash can with a bag in it and bring it to the field

Home Team is responsible for Plate Umpire and Tear-down: 
1. Put the bases away and put the base plugs in holes
2. Drag the field
3. Rake the pitching mound
4. Put tarps back on
5. Check and clean the dugouts
6. Take the bag of trash to the bin and return the can to the snack shack area


Farm Field
Visiting Team is responsible for Field Umpire and Field Set-up: 
1. Drag the field if necessary 
2. Water dirt area as needed
3. Line the field  (Paint will not stick if the dirt is not wet)
4. Put the bases in
5, Bring out the pitching screen
6. Get a trash bin from the garbage area and bring it to the field
7. Visiting team will provide game balls

Home Team is responsible for Plate Umpire and Tear-down: 
1. Put the bases away and put the plugs in the base holes 
2. Drag the field
3. Put the pitching screen away
4. Check and clean the dugouts
5. Return the trash bin to the garbage area


TBall Field
Visiting Team is responsible for Field Set-up: 
1. Drag the field if necessary
2. Water dirt area as needed
3. Line the field  (Paint will not stick if the dirt is not wet)
4. Put the bases in
5. Get a trash bin from the garbage area and bring it to the field
6. Bring out game balls
7. Bring out the tee from the shed

Home Team is responsible for Plate Umpire and Tear-down: 
1. Put the bases away and base plugs in holes 
2. Drag the field
3. Check and clean the dugouts
4. Return the trash bin to the garbage area
5. Bring the tee back to the shed
